Intern Relationship Officers

POSITION SUMMARY

The Intern Relationship Officer shall be responsible for first-hand engagement with potential clients (Deposits and Loans) in the private and public sectors. The Intern Relationship Officer shall work directly with a Relationship/Branch Manager, to support their direct Sales and Deposit mobilization duties, their duties will thus include some or all of the following: new client acquisition, deposit mobilization, loan origination, loan underwriting, loan arrears collection, loan monitoring, and loan remediation.

 

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drives DMDI Products and Services through Sales and various direct marketing activities;
  • Keep record all potential deposit and loan clients in a log and submit to supervisory Relationship/Branch Manager weekly;
  • Identify potential corporate, private or public institutions, NGOs, and individual loan or deposit clients that would grow the general Portfolio;
  • Ensure the bank’s account opening and loan packages are dropped off to these acquire institutions or organizations and individuals with constant follow-ups that will lead to growth within the overall targets assigned;
  • Be active in Deposit Mobilization activities or events to increase Deposits and grow the portfolio;
  • Be responsible for loan origination, loan underwriting, arrears collections, loan monitoring, and loan remediation;
  • Inform supervisory Relationship/Branch Manager of all set meeting engagements with potential deposit or loan clients in a timely and efficient manner for the necessary support needed; Any other duties as assigned by your Relationship/Branch Manager in line with DMDI policies.

EDUCATION, REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

The Ideal Candidate will possess the following qualification and traits:

  • College /university degree (B.A/BSc.) in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, or engineering obtained within the last three years with a GPA of 3.5 or higher
  • Good knowledge of basic Microsoft office programs
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills
  • Communication skills, Verbal and written
  • Attention to details

  • Problem Analysis and solving skills
  • Demonstrate honesty, integrity, punctuality and accuracy
